If we judge it by itself and without comparing it is actually quite bad, easily 75% or 85% of the nen users who have seen do not really know how to use the nen, being generally characters who do not know how to use their aura in a basic way and who do not have a useful ability or even one as such something that is rare considering that most passed a hunter exam and were minimally instructed about nen, as well as their personal ambitions would lead them to create a nen ability of their own that endows them with great power even through a restriction (which is really not that bad considering that they themselves choose a restriction for the ability that they created themselves).
